Terms of use for the WoW Trade Hub platform
These Terms of Service govern rights and obligations between the WoW Trade Hub platform operator and its users in accordance with European Union law, especially rules for digital services, consumer protection, ePrivacy, and privacy protection.
1. Platform Operator

2. Introductory Provisions
WoW Trade Hub is an online platform (information society service) that allows users to publish and display offers and requests related to the World of Warcraft game environment.
By using the platform, the user confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
3. Platform Role and Responsibility
WoW Trade Hub acts exclusively as a technical and informational intermediary (hosting service).
The platform operator in particular:
- does not sell or buy game items, game currency, or services,
- does not mediate transactions between users,
- is not a contractual party to user agreements,
- does not define offer content or conditions,
- is not responsible for fulfillment of obligations between users.
All agreements, trades, and transactions are carried out exclusively between users and at their own risk.
The platform does not interfere with game mechanics or Blizzard Entertainment rules and is not affiliated with that company.
4. User Account
Using selected platform features may require creating a user account.
The user agrees to:
- provide truthful, current, and complete data,
- protect login credentials,
- not allow third-party access to the account.
The user is responsible for all actions performed through their account.
5. User Duties and Responsibility
The user is responsible in particular for:
- legality, truthfulness, and completeness of published content,
- compliance with third-party rights (copyright, personality rights),
- compliance with World of Warcraft rules and Blizzard Entertainment terms,
- compliance with European Union legal regulations.
The user must not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or misleading purposes.
6. Prohibited Content
It is prohibited to publish in particular:
- fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive offers (scam),
- illegal products, services, or content,
- content infringing copyright or other third-party rights,
- hate, abusive, harassing, or inappropriate content,
- content violating game rules or third-party terms.
7. Digital Services and Paid Features
The platform may offer paid digital services (for example Premium features) that extend platform capabilities.
These services:
- are not physical goods,
- are provided exclusively in digital form,
- are activated after successful payment completion.
Details about prices, scope, and conditions of digital services are always shown before payment starts, including consumer information and any withdrawal rules applicable to digital performance.
8. Payments via Stripe
Payments for digital services are processed exclusively through the Stripe payment gateway.
The platform operator:
- does not act as a payment institution or payment service provider,
- has no access to payment card details,
- does not store sensitive user payment data,
- receives only payment result information.
Stripe handles technical payment processing. Rights and obligations related to delivering the digital service (Premium) are borne by the platform operator under these Terms and related pre-payment information.
9. Advertising, Analytics, and Monetization
The platform may display ads through third-party ad systems, especially Google AdSense, and may use traffic measurement tools (for example Google Analytics).
Advertising content:
- is displayed automatically,
- may be personalized based on user consent (if required),
- does not represent recommendations by the platform operator.
Consent management for cookies and similar technologies is handled via Cookiebot, where consent can be updated anytime in Cookie Settings.
The operator is not responsible for third-party ad content.
10. Moderation and Content Actions
The operator reserves the right to:
- remove or edit user content,
- temporarily or permanently restrict or close a user account,
- restrict or terminate access to the service,
if these Terms of Service, legal regulations, or platform security/operation are violated.
11. Reporting Harmful and Illegal Content (DSA)
Users can report content they consider illegal or contrary to these Terms of Service via the operator contact email.
In the report, ideally include a content link, reason description, and supporting materials. The operator will acknowledge receipt, assess the report, and in justified cases take appropriate actions (for example limiting visibility, removing content, or restricting an account).
If content or account action is taken, the operator may inform the affected user about the reason. The user can submit an objection through the contact email.
12. Service Availability
The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability and is not responsible for temporary unavailability caused by technical reasons, maintenance, or circumstances beyond its control.
13. Limitation of Liability
The operator is not responsible for:
- content published by users,
- actions and agreements between users,
- damages, losses, or lost profits arising from platform use.
The platform is provided "as is".
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by European Union legal regulations. If the user is a consumer, this does not affect rights granted by mandatory legal provisions of the state of their habitual residence within the European Union.
15. Changes to Terms and Final Provisions
The operator reserves the right to change these Terms of Service at any time. The current version is always available on the WoW Trade Hub website.
In case of material changes that may affect user rights and obligations, the operator may inform users appropriately (for example on the website or by email). If a user does not agree with a change, they may stop using the platform and close their account.
